DESCRIPTION:22nd Annual Chicago European Union Film Festival\n22nd Annual Chicago European Union Film Festival (March 8-April 4) is North America's largest showcase of EU cinema featuring 60 premieres from all 28 EU nations. March 8 marks the opening of the festival\, featuring THOU SHALT NOT KILL from this year's host country Romania. In THOU SHALT NOT KILL\, when a three-year-old boy dies shortly after a successful surgery\, his doctor begins investigating a chain of similar unexpected deaths at his urban hospital. Immediately following the Opening Night film and program\, the audience is invited to a reception in the Film Center's Gallery/Caf  generously hosted by Tiberiu Trifan\, Consul General of Romania.\n\n\n\nTickets to each screening--unless stated otherwise are $11/general admission\, $7/students\, $6/Film Center members\, and $5/Art Institute of Chicago (AIC) staff and School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) faculty\, staff\, and students. All tickets may be purchased at the Film Center Box Office. Both general admission and Film Center member tickets are available through the Gene Siskel Film Center's website www.siskelfilmcenter.org/content/tickets or through the individual films' weblinks on www.siskelfilmcenter.org. There is a surcharge of $1.50 per ticket.
